About Cold Bay Outfitters
Part of the Cold Bay Safaris Group — guiding the Alaska Peninsula.
The edge of Alaska
Cold Bay sits at the windswept tip of the Alaska Peninsula, where the Bering Sea meets the Pacific and the Aleutian Range begins its long arc to the west. It is one of the most remote and game-rich landscapes left on the continent — home to brown bear, caribou, sea ducks, sockeye, coho, and the great fall migration of geese through Izembek Lagoon.
Cold Bay Outfitters was built to share this place with a small number of guests each season. We are part of the Cold Bay Safaris Group, an Alaska-rooted family of operators that includes our lodge, our boats, and our affiliated air service. That means a single point of contact from the moment you land in Anchorage to the moment you fly home with your story.
We run light, we run small, and we run with people who have spent their lives on this peninsula. Whether you're here to hunt, fish, or simply put a long lens on a coastal brown bear at sunrise, our job is to put you in the right place at the right time — and to make the logistics disappear.
