Cackler Goose Hunt
September – October

Cackler Goose Hunt

Our guided Cackler Goose hunts take place around the legendary Izembek Lagoon, one of the world's premier waterfowl destinations and home to one of the largest eelgrass beds on earth. This rich staging area draws huge numbers of migrating birds each fall, including cacklers, brant, ducks, and other geese, making Cold Bay a bucket-list destination for serious waterfowl hunters. Best rough season: fall waterfowl generally begins September 1, with cacklers strong through September and into October, depending on weather and migration movement.
